Making ITP PS as one of the leading education centers in Indonesia, in the field of agro-industrial research and development focused on food based on continental maritime-based cultural values.

The description of the meaning of continental maritime-based culture is as follows:
Togetherness (accommodating, adaptive, creative)
Justice (leadership, pioneering, caring)
Seriousness (development of self capacity, enthusiasm for life, entrepreneurial spirit, tenacity)
These values become the basic values for the process of continuation of social capital in the co-existence of co-evolution

Mission

Organizing master's degree education that is competent in the field of ITP with a high reputation
Supporting the interests of research and development in the field of agro-industry by focusing more on food products, especially in the Eastern Indonesia region

Aim

Field of Education: Produces high-quality and highly competent Masters (S2) in Food Science and Technology.
Research Field: Produce the latest and superior research to increase the value added of food products.
Community Service Sector: Fostering small, medium and large scale food agroindustry, especially in Eastern Indonesia.

Target

a. Field of education
Educating scholars in Food Technology to become masters of Food Science and Technology

b. Field of Research
Carry out innovative and extraneous research in the field of food agroindustry based on the 2011 Unhas Research Master Plan (RIP).

c. Service Field
Fostering small, medium and large food agroindustry, especially in eastern Indonesia in order to increase added value.

Representative Board of Members of the Hasanuddin University of Technology (DPA TP UH)
Hasanuddin University Agricultural Technology Student Association (HIMATEPA UH).
Members of the KMJ TP UH are those who are registered with the Agricultural Technology Department of the University of Hasanuddin and fulfill the membership requirements. The KMJ TP UH members consist of young members, ordinary members, special members, and extraordinary members.
Each year the KMJ TP UH organization carries out a Member Conference (MUSTA) to determine the management of the DPA TP UH and HIMATEPA UH, and establishes the Articles of Association and Organization GBH.

In addition to the Agricultural Technology Student Association, Students from the Unhas Agricultural Technology Department can also join the Hasanuddin University Student Activity Unit (UKM) to channel their talents in the fields of arts, sports, etc.

"Students from the Department of Agricultural Technology can hone their organizational skills and channel their talents and interests in the student organization of the Agricultural Technology Department, namely HIMATEPA (Agricultural Technology Student Association) and Student Activity Unit (UKM)"

Admissions andentry requirementsEntry requirementsThere are three entry options to this programme: National Selection of State University Entrance (SNMPTN), Joint Entrance Selection of State Universities (SBMPTN), andLocal Selection Entrance.General entry requirement for these three admission types is applicants have completedtheir secondary education (high school) indicated by a high school diploma.Specific entry requirement for each enrolment option

1.National Selection of State University Entrance (SNMPTN)

a.SNMPTN are conducted based on academic achievement tracking by using a reportfrom first to the fifthsemester for threeyears senior high school and academic portfolio.

b.Schools whose students apply by SNMPTN must have a National School Principal Number / Nomor Pokok Sekolah Nasional (NPSN),andstudent’s academic performance is registered Pangkalan Data Sekolah dan Siswa (PDSS) / database of School and Student.

c.Applicant have National Student Identity Number, have superior academic performance, and document in PDSS/ Database of School and Student.

2.Joint Entrance Selection of State Universities (SBMPTN)

a.Graduates of secondary high school in the previoustwo years must have adiploma

b.Graduates of secondary high school in a recentyear must have at least a Certificate of Passed / Surat Keterangan Lulus (SKL) whichat least contains information of student identity, current passport photo, and stamped.

3.Local Selection Entrance (three types)

a.Non-Subsidiary Pathwayi.Registered as participants of SBMPTN.ii.Those who have passed SBMPTN are not allowed to register.iii.Must have enrolled in one of Hasanuddin University’s study programmes.

b.Sport, Art and Science Achievement in Pathway

Tracking graduates of study programme conducted by study programme in cooperation with  the  alumni  by  sending  a  questionnaire  to  the  home  address  or  office’s  alumni. Tracking is also done via phone and social networking on the internet (Facebook and

WhatsApp) and the web at  https://www.unhas.ac.id/tekpert/index.php/alumni.html.

 

The tracking conducted annually by sampling method for 50 alumni who have just graduated and who have got the job. The process used is to send a questionnaire sheet to graduate users or make a questionnaire available at www.itp.agritech.unhas.ac.id.  The results of this tracking study are then documented and used to:

1) Improvement of learning strategy.

 

2) Job information, and

 

3) Networking development
